You just need to click on the desired download link and it'll immediately start the download. Both bit and bit edition download links are given. So if you don't want to register before downloading Office trial version, you can download it directly using following download links:.
Microsoft Project Professional setup files have been removed by Microsoft. After downloading, you'll get a. IMG file and you'll need to extract it using an archive utility such as 7-Zip. After extracting the file, you'll get a folder containing all the required setup files.
Just run the " Setup. You'll still need to register to obtain Office product key to activate the product. But these direct download links will save your time and you'll not need to depend upon Microsoft's download application which requires Java runtime environment installed.
He has written several tech articles for popular newspapers and has also appeared in a few tech shows on TV channels. Hi VG, will the setup ask for the 25 character key before proceeding with the installation? I know Office Pro asked for one Thnx for the DLs VG!!
But hasn't MS uploaded the links for individual products like publisher, word, excel, etc? The setup will not ask for product key at the time of installation but once the setup completes, you'll need to enter product key to activate the product.
Office has an edition called Office Starter that is a stripped-down bundle of Word and Excel in one easy install package. Currently, there is no such stripped-down bundle edition for Office Getting an error "the specified module could not be found", while running Setup.
All the copy I came across are always the C2R version. Have downloaded from email from work, now cannot find install. Have serial key but no installation file???? Can you share the direct download links for office img files?
I had searched the whole internet and found nothing. CoOl KinG First and foremost office is coming to an end this april and hence u should seriously consider ur options. Here is the link for standard version includes word, powerpoint, excel and outlook, doesn't include service packs.
And here is sp3 link pre-includes sp1 and sp2, so no need to download and install them this will do: CoOl KinG here u go for office pro use sp3 from the link in my above comment, be warned though its not from microsoft's site:. Sorry guys but I had to remove the link as the website hosts illegal pirated versions of paid software.
I am facing problem while installing office pro plus 64 bit. Setup can't find or validate an installation file. If you continue to have probleems, please Contact Mirooft or your system administrator.
CoOl KinG Based on ur above comments i m assuming u r installing from an iso or installation folder. So basically the problem is ur iso installation folder is located very deep in the system meaning the installation path is too long.
Here is what u can try just copy the iso installation folder and paste it on desktop and try to run the setup as admin from that iso installation folder or just reduce the size of the path of install location hope u understand.
Plz tell if this helps. I figured this all out on the Microsoft forum. This link made it sound like a person could have completed the task with no grief. It is not accepting my account registration which I know is correct and having no key Please try reinstalling office from your installation source Are you having slow Internet connection?
Also try to extract content of IMG file using 7-Zip. I've tried all the solutions found around! I've tried live chat with MS - who just told me they can only help with Office issues, and gave me a number to call. After calling that number, going through lots of menu options and being passed between 4 departments - they final person told me the line was bad and they'd call me back - then hung up and didn't call back - great customer service!
These DL links some are broken and such, but I have found a list of good links that link direct to MS servers. If you browse around you can also find Office and as well as Windows vista and 7 copies too, also direct form MS Servers.
Office installed, now asking to activate the same. I struggled until I was able to find a direct download for that isn't C2R. Microsoft is so stupid, that even with the C2R version I cannot install on my secondary drive.
It was erroring trying to register a scheduled task but was complaining that the system could not find the path specified. After tracking with procmon I verified the XML file used for this command was actually being created.
I then focused on the other path mentioned in that error: This is the path the scheduled task would actually live at so I opened Task Scheduler and drilled down through the path. Since this path was empty, I deleted the Office folder entirely from Task Scheduler and re-ran setup again.
This time it finished successfully! I don't know why the simple fact that the Office folder existed within Task Scheduler prevented this from running but its removal fixed my issue. Very last post and it worked. All I did was delete the Office folder from Scheduler there were no tasks present and ran install again and it worked.
You have just saved my life, sir. This is the real answer. It took me over a day, and you posted this last night. After a week of troubleshooting for a high profile client, I thank you from the very depths of my soul.
I also wish you the happiest of holidays, and if you believe in Santa, I'm sure he's bringing you some good stuff. This was the problem on my Windows 10 Surface Book. I've never had so many problems with software as I have on this brand new, premium-priced machine.
Thanks a lot for providing the solution It Works for me too. I had a previous installation of Office, and I guess that the empty folder in Task Scheduler has permissions incompatibles with the new installation.
I had the same issue. Tried it all in this thread but it did not work - but got me to thinking. The computer in question is a fresh image - so no full fledged Office Programs. But I did see a bunch of Office components.
This lead me to Sharepoint Designer I have been installing it on units, to get a particular application Office Picture Manager. I deleted the Office folder from Task Scheduler and rerun the setup.
I tried to create it manually and received Access Denied error. Deleting the empty Office folder in Task Scheduler is not solving. Microsoft is conducting an online survey to understand your opinion of the Technet Web site.

Tuesday, October 30, 5: If you are getting a " " error in your logs as Ken did then the solution is to delete the "DisableRollback" or set to '0' at the following registry keys: Scheduler service was stopped.
Environment variable "ComSpec" had been modified semicolon added. Fix was to remove the added semicolon there should be no semicolon. Marked as answer by Kennethj Thursday, December 06, 6: Thursday, December 06, 6: I decided to wipe out all of my Office, , and Same error, completely useless error at that.
A little more info would be helpful. Tuesday, October 30, 8: This error could happen when the Rgstrtn. Wednesday, October 31, 6: I tried all 3 of those solutions. The third solution of unregistering the misexec never gave me any confirmation of unregsiter or re-register.
I found that odd. Also I was never able to get the preview installed on this machine. It failed with the same error. I finally put it on a VM but that just meant I barely tested it. Wednesday, October 31, I tried the idea from Tony here http: Monday, November 05, I've had the files on my local drive and tried that several times.
I flagged it as admin mode. I set permissions and tried confusing it with different compatibility modes as I read in a few places about getting installed. As of right now I have no Office and none will install.
I'm getting a new hard drive this morning with a fresh install of Windows 7. That had better fix it. Tuesday, November 06, 1: I am having the same problem and am dead in the water. Following is the section of the log with the errors MS email me for the full log: The system cannot find the file specified.

Finally my PC tech had to install it. This is a huge failure MS. Most people don't want to or won't deal with a failure of this magnitude. First of all fix the installer and return better messages when it does fail. At a cmd window typing "net start schedule" resolves the problem.
Proposed as answer by micrey Monday, November 26, 4: Wednesday, November 21, 8: Here is what I get in my log from the error on: Tuesday, December 04, 3: I encountered this problem when I was trying to install from a shared network drive.
I had to add "modify" permissions to the network folder and it worked ok after that. Wednesday, December 12, 7: Nothing here or in any of the other sites I have scanned has resolved my problem.
All the suggestions and to no avail. I now have a machine with no copy of Office and no way to load any version fails in the same way. Sunday, January 27, 6: I had same problem The solution for this problem is: Then try installing Ms Office This helped me to get rid of "office 13 encountered a problem" thing!
Proposed as answer by Dileep Thekkiniyedath Saturday, October 17, 5: Sunday, February 10, 9: FYI if the issue is that your "Task Scheduler" is in a bad state then the "extra" proposed solution in the following post has resolved the issue for some people: Thursday, February 14, 7: Hope this helps you.

Getting the setup to output an error code or message would make things easier to diagnose. Also getting the Eventlog to record a code or some other useful information would be nice as it currently records the failure but doesn't provide anything useful for troubleshooting it, not a crumb.
The things you take for granted these days Monday, February 10, Been working in IT for over 10 years and nothing on this page has worked for me. And a rebuild is not an option, so thanks Microsoft, for yet another shitty piece of software that I can't use.

So why not just do that? BTW, you are also wrong that most get it free. Many universities have gone to Google where the students get Google Docs, what a joke that is, especially when professors still require Word documents be submitted.
Libre is all well, nice, and good, but it does not produce business-class documents like Offices does. Watching people try to do document integration between their word processor and spreadsheet apps is a joke. My daughter is starting college this fall as an aerospace engineering major at a major US university and they actually require classes in how to use Office correctly and professionally just for this purpose.
They require the latest version. She will be on the day it ships. He clearly has no idea what fortune companies use in terms of software, not even mentioning government which still runs XP. The bigger the company the older its software.
The dream company he mentions will probably not upgrade to Office the day its launched, it will be years. His daughter is probably going to find out they have installed Office and then she will be in trouble when she only knows how to use the latest and greatest.
This is exactly why Microsoft is launching the slow ring for Enterprises. Home users are the beta testers. Companies will be the last ones to upgrade, as they care about stability and security vs features. He should just use crayon on construction paper.
Many have been doing exactly that for years now. Do you even know how to use a computer as your credibility is less and less with every post that you make? As for the free stuff, tell me again why so many Fortune 1, companies use the free stuff over Microsoft Office?
The vast majority of businesses use Microsoft Office because no matter what they send to someone the know they can open it. Run along boy and let the adults talk. You clearly do not know much about computers, because it is very easy to format Libre into Word, besides, what about Pages and Google Docs?
If you want a job in a Fortune company you'd better know how to use MS Office. If you go into an interview and boast about Libre and another applicant has the same credentials but Office expertise guess who's getting the job? I know kids who get to middle school who are very well versed in the ins and outs of Office.
God I would hate to be your kid. I can see it now. And all using Office, and paying for it out of their allowances. Firstly most homes have users and these people also have mobile phones and possibly a tablet or two per household so Office becomes excellent value at 2 users.
As well as Office you get 1Tb Per User of onedrive and 60 free skype minutes per month. Finally many new PCs come with first year free. I already addressed this. Five licenses of Office are a better deal than Office 65 at the six year mark.
And I wholeheartily agree. You can find a cheap copy of Office, 0r on eBay with lic. I have been able to get Office the normal one for free as I used Microsoft Dreamspark. You get a lot of free goodies.
Students can get a free or discounted version. For people with home offices or working at home he has a point. Its way more expensive to pay the yearly fee. What about people that have Google Drive or Dropbox or their own server?
They just want the software, not the extra services which you are actually paying. Tons of users skipped Win8. That is a fact. And most of these people also skipped Office I did and let me tell you why. Office has absolutely nothing new over Office Actually, Office removed tons of things which are available in Office In particular in Outlook.
Microsoft removed so many things they had to publish a special page about the things which are gone in Office So its a downgrade. I will probably upgrade to Office, so I skipped one version. Software as a Service does not work for every product and while companies love it, users hate it.
See how many people left Adobe for other products. How many new versions and features did Adobe launched since their Cloud only subscription? I would rather prefer to pay an upgrade for new things I want and need, not be forced to pay a constant subscription for no new things and even things I may not want in the software.
For companies its another story, because companies cannot use retail products in the first place. Uh, sorry, there is no Office As for Office, what exactly did they remove? As for removed features, there are tons of links, even on Microsofts website, but here is one: The 2 biggest one I actually use in Outlook where Notes and Journal.
For business, even the smallest removed feature, can destroy a complete workflow, in particular if there are not replacements for the removed features. If you have so many kids, which happen to use the computer exactly at the same time I hope you realize its completely legal to buy used games or software per court ruling, give Ebay a try.
Its the same software, in the same box and so much cheaper. Programmers love to do that. I have hundreds of business clients around the country who have never complained once about any of those removed features.
Next someone will complain that dial-up networking support has been removed. Stuck in the past? I upgrade everything as I need it, even computers, and phones, and I try to always have the latest.
First of, Office is not EOL. This means its still updated in terms of security. Its not like using XP today. Microsoft is still making patches for Office What I said is that the current Office does not offer anything in particular I would see as a benefit, besides the visual changes, there is not a single feature which will make me more productive, or faster, or better at my job.
It does exactly the same thing does. I want to control my data in my own local devices. Microsoft will remove them eventually, probably in Office They are not moved. They are there on purpose so users stop using them because its their way of saying they will be removed completely eventually.
This is why Microsoft writes on the link you posted before: And as opposed to a subscription where I lose access if I stop paying, when Office is launched, I can upgrade when I want. I know tons of people which are happy with it and maybe I will upgrade to that next year as well.
There is no reason why Microsoft should not keep offering both. Its all about choices. Adobe lost plenty of customers including me when I paid thousands of dollar on retail boxes just to find out a few months later I cannot upgrade them anymore.
They sold me EOL software, because now they force everyone to a subscription which means all the software I purchased from them is worthless as I will never be able to upgrade anymore in the future.
Yes, I would complain if dial up is removed. I hope you realize that in remote places, far way in other parts of the planet, including third world countries, islands, deserts, or even on a mountain, not everyone has satellite Internet.
The only way for a field researchers or scientists is to connect to land line with a slow dial up connection. Not even sure how that is comparing it to removing the sticky notes and the journal….
Why even mention it? In both cases, the computers of the day were hundreds of times less powerful than modern multi-core systems. A midrange system in ran at 33MHz, a high-end one ran at 50MHz. So, no — obviously in these cases I would upgrade, because a modern Haswell is x faster based on architecture and 80x faster based on clock speed.
Claiming that staying with a version of Office for years is equivalent to using a 25 year-old wordprocessor is just stupid. It just makes you look incoherent. What I said was I can be very productive in Word 2.
I have it loaded in a VM running Windows 3. My point was the features removed were either features that no one used any more or that have been moved to the OS level like dial-up networking.
So before you go slamming me for something I did not say nor did I imply you might consider actually reading what I said and the previous post that I replied to. So while you think I look incoherent, you actually look lazy for not reading what I said.
I do my initial writing in Notepad most of the time, in point of fact. Or I write directly in the CMS. Google being the lone exception. You should write what you know, not what you guess about. I use Office for many tasks.
When I was writing reviews for PC Magazine, I made extensive use of Word for marking up and returning edited documents. Office or I have repeatedly qualified my remarks on this topic by noting that if you have different needs or use cases, my math may not apply.
And the cost between O and O Professional is much smaller than the gap between a single-user license and the equivalent O product. Having previously made these statements, multiple times, I feel no need to repeat them here.
You are, of course, entirely free to disagree with me. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, just not their own facts. They removed nothing, but added a ton of unwanted crap. And, there are 24 hours in a day.
Your kids must get very, VERY big assignments. So kids get home and need to use a computer to do both research and write their papers. Having one computer can get frustrating and prevent assignments from being completed.
Add parents to the mix and you could have people fighting over a single computers. NOT or …. And they pay for it with their lunch money. Microsoft will support Windows 10 with standard support through and extended support through Windows licensing revenue did decline significantly last quarter.
Therefore earning money from the Windows store will mean getting people to buy from it. No, I did not detail ALL the ways that MS could seek to earn additional revenue off Windows, but the one example I gave — earning more money through the store — is entirely and completely accurate.
I have been writing about Windows 10 for months. Except in this article not once is there mention of the actual way it works. Windows 10 is free for the supported lifetime of the device. Microsoft has not clarified that meaning.
Therefore endless speculation on what it means is pointless. You mean making a completely wrong fact? He clearly states free for life. Or you believe people can just post whatever they want as fact. As he States… Drink his koolaid.
Nobody said it was free for life. You can get a free upgrade to Win 10 for 1 year. Articles are for reading, not skimming. Did you read all of that? But hey, if you want to pay for 5 licenses when you only need one, be my guest.
And I feel sorry for anybody running right now. Office personal is pretty good deal in my opinion. You get the latest software, 1tb of online storage, and the web version is actually pretty nice as well. Heck I think I used the web version more than the desktop version.
I can personally confirm that they parse data. I commented on this earlier. Had a windows activator and when I installed Win 10 it added OneDrive, which automatically started uploading my files to the cloud. I refused to delete it and downloaded it anyway.
It gave me a really odd error that I never seen before. Whether or not I should have the file is irrelevant here, the fact that there looking through our stuff IS. Here is the problem with calling it RTM. Insiders and OEMs are the only ones that will get this.
But, even with that said, Microsoft is in panic mode right now. They have a plan. They refuse to tell us what it is. But, they must recuperate their income at some point. I personally have had no issues with it either.
Xbox application for instance. I check for updates and use it a bit every day on my desktop computer, and my copy is definitely not ready for production. I was not able to go over Win 7 tried but failed with bluescreen error.
But a clean install worked great. Windows 10 Preview or whatever was installed over a very stable installation of Windows 8. Most recently, Windows 10 Build was installed over the last build and its updates. I suspect a lot of the mean-mouthing about ME was from those who attempted to install it over Windows 98SE or whatever.
Whatever the case, I updated Build today and attempted to do my daily work with it. I soon gave up in frustration and returned to my Windows 8. Considering, many installations of Windows 10 will be over existing installations of Windows 8.
That said, I expect most updaters will install over an existing 7 or 8. I think a similar situation existed with Windows ME. Rock solid and ready my ass. The settings are actually very well done. Please get proof before randomly coming up with faults.
Instead of being in one place, such as Control Panel, they are all over the place. I have no problem finding any setting to manage. As for the store, have you tried using the Apple App Store?
Google Play is a jumbled mess too. All of these guys have way too many apps and no good way to display them. I can finally agree with you on something! Very stable for me too. Surface Pro 3 is a absolutely beautiful device, and I replaced a laptop with it for Software Development and I will not ever second guess the decision.
That being said, also realize they have the HoloLens soon to hit the market, and if you have looked at the hardware specs, it too is a brilliantly designed product. Using the latest build 10 is pretty darn perfect.
It is free because Microsoft wants people to use their online store to get income. Microsoft is still charging OEMS for Windows where they get most of their money anyways its not from your mom going into bestbuy and buying a copy of windows.
This in a way is the best way for Microsoft to earn money and save money from having to support 7 like they did with XP. Everybody else new users, Windows XP users, etc will have to pay for it. You could take the path of the dark jedi and just get a registration code online and not pay a dime for Office since there are thousands floating around.
It would depend on how much the software is worth. The second offense is punishable by up to 10 years in prison. You know there are free options out there, right? Who cares about RTM. When it comes to Windows 10, the evaluation is not good.
This is a big mess that should have been cleaned up before MS declares ready. Zone Alarm firewall is not compatible at least my version 2: I used a clean install though, upgrade method crashed. How did you clean install and activating it properly?
Well the problems are deeper than just UI inconsistencies. Absolute marketing genius for Microsoft: Microsoft seems to have completely forgotten that. This is a textbook evaluation case. Put it out there and see how it does, without charging any money.
How is Office value terrible? The new search bar is not what expected anyways. That is the product we pay for. Value is determined by what people are willing to pay for something. I am willing to pay for Office therefore it is has value to me.
Now if you need to buy 10, 15, or 30 licenses of Office Professional, I readily agree that Office will present the better value over the lifetime of the software. Single users of are just silly in my opinion.
I should buy copies for all my invisible friends? My GF gets Office from school. So who, exactly, am I going to buy it for? I was agreeing with you. There is no desktop watermark and PC properties it just says Windows 10 pro.
Office Professional costs Euros on Amazon. My yearly Office Personal subscription with exactly the same office components costs This makes my Office Personal subscription a very good value for me as a single user.
Great, so the build that crashes my computer on a daily basis is going to be released to the public. I thought this was for TECH stuff! Everyone, stop behaving like a grammar teacher and trading insults.
On Nov I got a laptop with 8,1 then upgraded to 10 on July and so far I have nothing to admire or like. Pretty bothered from all the fuss that it can run on different devices like tv sets phones tablets. If it is like it is personally it does not suit me and I am not bothering fixing things for Microsoft and the manufacturers providing them feedback on what is going bad.
They actually do not pay me at all for this. A MacMini with a simple memory upgrade runs on El Capitan, not as a new device would but is booting and working faster than this Windows 10 dell laptop. The plus is that I have much more free and cheaper options on Mac OS that really give me results.
With this I am struggling to find software to open dvds or pdfs. So lets say my laptop goes on for 12 years and I only change the memory and HD. Can they automatically stop renewing my Windows 10 copy because it has past a certain amount of time?
